"Where Worlds Touch" is a body of work exploring the emotional and psychological aftermath of cultural fragmentation and conflict. These oil paintings exist at the intersection of myth, memory, and modernity—where deeply personal narratives meet global currents of upheaval and resilience. Emerging from my earlier series In Between, this work offers a visual response to the widening divides in contemporary society and my lived experience as a Ukrainian-born artist during wartime.
Through layered figuration and symbolic motifs, the series reflects on rupture and repair, disconnection and devotion. Anchored in the archetypal and spiritual, the paintings create contemplative spaces that invite viewers to slow down, to feel, and perhaps to find common ground in the liminal.
